SEYSA Youth Programme 2011
Youth Programme 2011 is tailored for no more than 48 talented young people selected from over 770 awardees of the Prizes for Outstanding Senior Secondary Student, who are confident, responsible, keen to learn as well as to serve others. Through a series of self-enhancement training programmes, various social exposure opportunities, team-based competitions, the sharing of the valuable experiences and knowledge from former awardees of Sir Edward Youde Memorial Scholarships/ Fellowships, as well as mutual learning among the high-quality participants, Youth Programme 2011 aims at facilitating participants' personal development as well as enhancing their social awareness. In addition to a debating forum, self-organised community service and a series of inspiring training and talks, it is also a unique opportunity for participants to widen their horizons and expand their network with talented awardees, scholars and mentors. Each selected participant will be assigned to a group of young awardees with a group leader from the University and gain opportunities to meet a number of mentors who are senior SEYSA members or well-established industry or community leaders. We believe the participants would have an inspirational experience through close interactions with the mentors and leaders.
