Where Nature Meets Tribute — Hike to Sir Edward Youde Memorial Pavilion

 

Step into the crisp winter air and join us for a scenic hike from Luk Keng to Tai Mei Tuk, passing through the iconic Sir Edward Youde Memorial Pavilion. Along the way, immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of Nam Chung, enjoy distant views of Starling Inlet, and take in the sweeping panorama of Plover Cove Reservoir. This journey blends nature, culture, and a touch of history — the perfect way to welcome the new year with fresh energy and appreciation.

To cater for different abilities and preferences, we’ll be offering two hiking routes:
Participants can choose between a shorter hike turning back at the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Pavilion, or continue the full route to Tai Mei Tuk for a longer adventure. Both promise great views and a memorable winter day outdoors!
