The very first SEYSA’s Chapter Ten Mentorship Program is newly-introduced to the Youders this year, we are delighted to have received significant amount of applications from the motivated minds who wish to be a mentee of the prestigious mentors. The Program kick-off meeting was successfully held on 22nd September at the City University of Hong Kong. In the pleasant afternoon, the 25 selected mentees from our Youder family enjoyed an enlightening meeting with their mentors, other mentees and the Ex-co members.

“Communication” was discussed in this Program workshop. The discussion aims to support the learning and development of mentees’ professional communication with their mentors. Mentees not only learned from our friendly reminder on their professional communication manner, they can engage themselves with the key concepts right away during the workshop.

Following motivational words from Prof. Christopher Chao, the Ice-Breaking session had engaged participants with full of interaction and laughter, the game enabled mentors and mentees to learn more about each other.

Especially, we are honoured to have our speakers Youder Mr. Nelson Yip and the Founder of Future City Summit, Mr. Andre Kwok for sharing their personal experience on the way to strive for their goals and success, the sharing is truly inspirational!

We would like to thank the panel of Youder mentors, including Youders Prof. Christopher Chao and Prof. Paul Luk and Mr. Nelson Yip for their presence to the session from their tight schedule.
“A good beginning makes a good ending”, the simple and meaningful start lays the groundworks for the fruitful learning and engagement between our mentors and mentees.
We are looking forward to meeting them again in the coming visit on 24th November, the Second Program workshop about Blog writing (date to be confirmed) and having their experience sharing at the Closing ceremony in March 2019. We see more mutual learning could come from the Chapter Ten Mentorship Program. Stay tuned with us!
